Data & privacy

WhenWhat is sentTo
You protect code (Oxrion Desktop or the Web Encoder)The .php files you selected, your options (including public keys, the external key for Server lock, and Stamp notes) and your Encoder TokenOxrion’s Encoder. The files are protected and sent back; your source is not stored.
You email a licenseThe email, with the .lic file attached, and the customer’s addressYour own email provider (SMTP)
You send a webhookThe license details, and the license file if you chose to include itYour own webhook URL

Nothing else leaves your computer. Issuing licenses, recovering source and the Vault work offline, and your license and recovery private keys are never sent anywhere.

Protected files don’t contact Oxrion either: the loader runs them on your server without sending us anything. What Oxrion keeps about your account and usage is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Web Encoder reads your project in the browser and sends only the .php files you select, exactly as above; the protected .zip is built in the browser. The page loads no analytics or third-party scripts.

It saves nothing unless you tick Remember on this device: then your Encoder Token and your license and recovery public keys are kept in that browser’s local storage, never on a server. Clear saved data removes them. The external key for Server lock and any private key you create on the page are never saved — keys you create there are shown once for you to download.

WhatWhere
Your keysYour .vault file, wherever you saved it — encrypted with your password
License History (customers, emails, notes, license files)licenser.json in the Oxrion data folder
Email & Hooks settings (templates, accounts, webhooks)delivery.json in the Oxrion data folder
App settings (theme, language, zoom, never-copy list)prefs.json in the Oxrion data folder
Remembered file choices and Stamp notesoxrion.ignore and oxrion.stamp in your project folders — see Project files

The Oxrion data folder is:

SystemFolder
Windows%AppData%\Oxrion
macOS~/Library/Application Support/Oxrion
Linux~/.config/Oxrion

Passwords and secrets are never written to these files; they stay in your Vault. License History stores customer names, email addresses and notes in plain text on your computer — keep that in mind if others use it.

  1. Install Oxrion Desktop on the new computer.
  2. Copy your .vault file, and open it from the Vault with Open existing.
  3. To keep your License History and Email & Hooks settings, copy the whole Oxrion data folder to the same place on the new computer before you start the app.

Your Encoder Token is in your Vault if you saved it there; otherwise generate a new one in the Oxrion Console.

  • License History — Clear all in License History deletes every record.
  • Keys — remove them in the Vault, or delete the .vault file.
  • Everything — delete the Oxrion data folder and your .vault file.
